At the beginning of 2005, ITS changed the way we are charged for internet traffic, this latest model makes traffic to "OnNet" sites zero cost, while "OffNet" sites are charged heavily. You can lookup which sites are OnNet/OffNet here, but the basic distinction is Internet2 connect sites nationally and internationally are OnNet (including most .edu, .edu.*, ac.* etc) , while most commercial sites are OffNet.How to ... in VisLab and UQ
