Hardware 
The Sydney prototype is driven by a PC cluster with graphics cards.
It can also be driven either by a one Infinite Reality 2 SGI Onyx2.

The UCSD prototype, nicknamed HDD or High Density Display, is driven by a three Infinite Reality 2 SGI Onyx2.
