Overview
The Access Grid Wine (agwine) packages available here are
built on and for the Slackware 12.1 and 12.2 distributions.
These agwine packages are
exactly the same as the ordinary wine package for Slackware, except that an
additional patch has been applied which enables correct serial port
communication when using the GWare application. GWare is the
configuration software for the ClearOne (Gentner) XAP400 hardware echo
canceller.

Installation
From SLackware 12.1 onward, the use of
slapt-get
is the preferred installation method for the agwine package. It is
assumed that if the AccessGrid toolkit is already installed then slapt-get
will also be already installed (since it is now the preferred method of
installing the AG toolkit on Slackware). It is also assumed that the
UQVislab software repository has been added to the system. In this case,
install agwine by running the following command (as root) in a shell:
slapt-get --install agwine
Configuration
Further configuration of the new Wine
environment before GWare can be installed and run successfully.
Please return to the GWare/XAP400 step by step
guide for full configuration details.
Additional Fonts
The various additional fonts are installed by running the the following
command (as root) in a shell:
slapt-get --install msttcorefonts
Issues
