The following AccessGrid RPMs were built on SUSE 9.3, but should work on SUSE 10.
After installation, logout and login to allow the new GNOME/KDE Access Grid menu to take effect.
wxPython/wxGTK issues with SUSE 9.3
SUSE 9.3 comes with wxPython 2.5.3 which is from the wxPython unstable release series and has some layout and useability problems with the AGTk VenueClient. These bugs do not exist with the newer wxPython 2.6 series, so wxGTK/wxPython 2.6 (or later) is recommended.
python-wxGTK-2.6.1.0-4.i586.rpm and it's wxGTK RPM dependencies can be found in this location.
Note: wxGTK-2.6.1.0-4.src.rpm (which was used to build python-wxGTK-2.6.1.0-4.i586.rpm and the wxGTK dependencies) is from SUSE 10, but has had the SPEC modified to remove the libcom_err BuildRequires dependency in order so it can be built on SUSE 9.3.
Building from source code
Install globus-accessgrid-2.4-9.i586.rpm and gpt-3.0.1-3.i586.rpm, then download AccessGrid-2.4-5.src.tar.bz2 and issue something like the following:
mkdir -p /sandbox/agtk cd /sandbox/agtk tar xvjf ~/AccessGrid-2.4-5.src.tar.bz2 export AGBUILDROOT=/sandbox/agtk cd AccessGrid/packaging/ ./BuildSnapshot.py --no-checkout --dist=suse -m4
