Photo Gallery: Remote Teaching from Taiwan to UQ Students
JCU was the first university in Australia and Queensland to use the AccessGrid to teach routinely between its two campuses on Townsville and Cairns for most of 2003.

0n October 22nd 2003, Dr Bordes was attending the PRAGMA conference at the National Center for High-Performance Computing (NCHC) in Hsinchu, Taiwan. At 7am (Taiwan time) she taught her visualisation course to UQ students. This was the first time that the AccessGrid was used for remote teaching at UQ.
