3D Molecular Dynamics Modeling of Nano-Cutting Processes

This 3D atomistic model is used to analyse the nano-cutting process applied to monocrystalline copper by a diamond tool. It describes dislocation interactions and residual defects and aids the manufacture of ultra-precision components.
