QCIF and UQ VisLab OptIPortal online at 10 Gb/s to Supercomputing 2009 Conference (Portland, Oregon).

Just one year ago, UQ VisLab's represented Australia in the Bandwidth Challenge competition at Supercomputing 08, using a 10G connection specially installed by AARNet just for that event. This year, participation in SC09 used the first commodity 10G connection to a UQ lab. Multiple compressed and uncompressed live HD streams were simultaneously transmitted from UQ Vislab to the University of Texas Advanced Computing Centre (TACC) booth at the SC09 conference exhibition hall.
